.) People will always want to forget the love you gave them. They will always try to deny that you cared, that you would have given anything to see them smile. They will always try to abandon the laughter you two once shared and the moments the turned both of your worlds upside down. Don't let their desire for convenience make YOU forget that you loved hard once. "It is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all." It hurts, and the pain never goes away but, it's pain; it's a feeling, and it was real once. Appreciate the FACT, that God trusted you, of all people, with the opportunity to feel something real and authentic.
.) Do not be afraid to fall in love again. The disappointment from before will never go away. You will always look up to the stars and wonder what could have been. You will always whisper a prayer that God provides and protects for them. You will always wish you could have done better and convince yourself that things could have been worse. But the important thing to remember is: You have a chance now to be a better version, a more honest and more pure version of yourself than ever before. And nothing is more exciting, full and wonderful than, love concentrate.
.) Fight for love. Fight to keep love. And fight the feeling to give up after you lose love.
.) I don't think anything feels worse than when a back turns on you for the last time. With each of the 180˚ away from your heart, for all of the battles once won, it feels like you've been defeated in the entire war. You get to a point where you find yourself fighting for an ounce of respect from them, scrapping for some sort of dignity to hold on to. To have the security in knowing that all of who you TRIED to be, for them, was not in vain. But know this, they would not be turning in the first place, if they saw another way. And once you are fully out of their sight, that is the perfect time to cry. And there you are suddenly, amongst all of the dignity that they could have ever given you.
.) When all is said and, all is done, no one knows anything but their own truth. Forgive them, and yourself, for not seeking out the absolute one. No one wants to be wrong and, quite honestly, no one wants to be right either.
