THM Broadcasting Live: On the weekends.

Things change. Seasons come, and they go. Like I said two posts ago, I JUST got a job recently so (thankfully) my schedule is a LITTLE bit tighter than ever before. Rather than be sporadic with my posts, I've decided to move this all to the weekends. So, tune in on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for your dose of The Honorable Mention.

I will also be incorporating some new things into this blog that will make it more of an asset to you all. Kind of excited. (Thx to the job, I can actually invest cold hard cash [or invisible credit lines] into this baby and make it everything I've dreamed it to be.)

I'm still getting into the groove so, give me a sec. to adjust to my new schedule and we will be back on track.

NOTE: Wouldn't it be nice to actually have THM Broadcasting on your computers and televisions? Yes it would. Let's work on that too!

Talk soon.

M.

Edit: Have you considered following me on twitter?

Worth Knowing: "America Is Not Working"

Remember the post I did, "Like a National Mood Ring"? Well this blows the mood of Twitter users out of the water. This is pertinent information because I know too many people who can relate. Click the pic and watch the vid., it will seriously take your breath away.

Best wishes to all of my fellow internet users who are on the hunt for a job. I was just blessed to get one a few months ago after almost a full year of no legitimate employment. It's hard out here but, it's always too early to give up. Keep looking, keep your head up.

Much love,

Melissa T.

More than an @ mention...

I learned a very small, necessary lesson today, people are always watching you. I started this blog because I think people want to know, believe in and learn something different. I will not lie and say that I know exactly what the difference is from. Oftentimes I feel like I am saying what people already know but, I can also say that I am proud of my product. I am also proud to say that someone else is too!

Today, my sister forwarded and e-mail to me from our dear friend, David. David does stuff--my sister knows him better than me. He's one of those people who is always everywhere but, never there at the same time. Superbowl weekends, hip parties, charity functions, chic lounges... the man is simply, tapped in. He and I always gather around the libations at functions and talk about traveling, where to go, what to see and who to get the deals from.

Some time ago, David started sending out e-mail blasts to his network of friends, family, co-workers and associates. It's the less corporate Daily Candy or Thrillist (awesome reference site) because there are no sponsors (yet) paying for placement or mentions. The man is simply letting everyone know where to be because he knows that, he knows that, that is where it will be going DOWN (you feel me?). He does, however, have fine print that reads: "Below are several events for your enjoyment. There are sure to be other things going on, but if you hit 50% of these spots you should be worn out." How awesome is that?

So, without further ado and three grammatically incorrect paragraphs later, I am proud to say that, THM has been so lucky, and honored, to be mentioned at the top of his list of websites to visit over this Labor Day weekend! : ) I will be honest and say that, I have no clue why he would mention THM and I really wonder how he caught wind of my little operation here in my bedroom but, I'LL TAKE IT!

Thanks so much for the shout out, D! I really do know and trust your impeccable taste so that means that SOMETHING is being done well on THM. So with your gesture, I am inspired to continue to work hard at THM and stay true to whatever the heck it is I think I'm doing.

Much love.
